Computing

Used to be if someone "knew" computers they could tell you anything you want to know about them. Not these days. Computing knowledge has grown so much we doubt if anyone "knows it all". We don't pretend to either.

Computers are becoming more disposable every day. Computer hardware prices are so low it's kinda silly to try to fix a computer when you can buy a newer and better one for not much more. Besides - do you have to know how an internal combustion engine runs to drive to the store? No.

So we concentrate on using computers on an everyday basis and a bit on building your website/blog/social page so you can accomplish what you want on the Internet as well. We're not "web site designers" by any means but we can install a script (a software program that runs on the internet) and do a few other tasks. Once in a while we run across something that makes computing life a little easier. We'll pass that on.

And we often find things that help you build business on the Internet - you could get swamped in stuff like that so we spend a lot of time reviewing them. You'd be surprised to find out how many we simply dump in the trash because they are more trouble than they are worth. Hopefully the programs we do end up recommending represent the cream of the crop.
